If you’re the type of person that wants to take your experience beyond merely shopping, Arielle Shoshana is your spot. You will not only receive the best recommendations but you’ll learn so much about fragrance notes, combinations, & more. Love that their super professional (but still fun & easy-going) staff put so much focus on educating their guests. There’s never pressure to buy, although you’re going to find it hard not to. The selection is amazing & there are price points for everyone! So glad they have curated such a fabulous set of products & a great retail environment. Small businesses are hard to come by these days, especially in Northerm VA, so please go & tell a friend or ten. I need these ladies to stick around! P.S. they always have the best recommendations on where to happy hour ;) Hence our fragrance finds + food/drink finds!

I ordered the Long Weekend sample set online and was greeted with a wonderful set of fragrances, ranging from both cozily unique to refreshingly familiar— all in a comfortable bundle of four! My partner ended up gifting me a full-size of Sunday after I fell in love with the notes, and I'm proud to say that it is now one of my signature scents. Definitely planning an in-store visit after the holidays!

I had the BEST time at Arielle Shoshana browsing around and picking out my signature scent. The staff was very accommodating and they were very knowledgeable about their craft and the products they carry, which I really appreciate. Not only does Arielle Shoshana have an incredible range of perfumes, they excel at curating a great experience! I highly recommend stopping by and shopping! 💖

Update 10/10/23: This business continues to be one of my absolute favorites in the DMV. The owners and staff are beyond courteous, never pushy, honest, and so sweet! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for more niche or indie perfumes. Customer service is super quick and attentive. I bring friends here whenever I get the chance and they too get hooked. There's a reason this place is rated so highly.

Amazing, fantastic, lovely, showstopping, gracious owners, kind local business. I think I should say I am doing you, the reader, a favor by letting you know about my new favorite hands down fragrence store. I went yesterday night and they were so so so kind to me after I took a drive to get there and absolutely made my time there worth it. I probably teared up a little from how kind she was to me. I cannot wait to go back.

Arielle Shoshana is my favorite store to buy perfume from. Their curation of fragrances means there is something for everyone in the store- from lovely niche perfumes, to high quality candles, the range of options here is impressive. As someone who loves perfume, I love going to the store and talking with the staff. They have a tremendous amount of knowledge and insight into the niche perfume world, and often have personal relationships with the owners of the brands they carry. Their suggested perfumes for me to try are always fun. When I buy a fragrance from them, they always load me up with samples. I can't ask for a better store- or kinder people- to indulge my perfume habit. I always look forward to visiting the store.

This shop and staff are A+++. AS has names I have only ever seen online and on blogs, as in so out of reach I thought I would resign to "blind-buying" forever. My first-ever visit, I met the creator Arielle Shoshana herself, who is kind, personable and was helped me to get an Imaginary Authors fragrance that was not in stock, quite quickly to my home!
